Welcome to our new studio blog! Thanks for stopping by! This is the place to see sneak peeks at my latest sessions. I am loacted in Cary, NC at I specialize in photographing maternity, newborns, babies and children. I also photograph lots of teenagers and high school seniors. The studio is located in Ashworth Village in Downtown Cary at 200 South Academy Street.
This is also the place to find out studio news and updated scheduling information. I will be posting about upcoming limited edition sessions, mini-sessions and other fun stuff. Sometimes I even need a model or two to try out some great new backdrops or props! I will be adding images of any new products that we will be offering like beautiful new albums, storybooks and portrait treatments.

This little guy was a dream to photograph! He was so perfect. Dad was the hero for the day when he realized that we just had to incorporate the baby’s name, Caymus, into the session. He whipped out his phone, searched for the closest Total Wine store. He scored a couple bottles of Caymus wine, and the coolest stamped wine crate! What a fun session!
These beautiful girls are friends and neighbors. We have enjoyed getting to know their family over the last year! We had a great session and we were able to get some studio images as well as some outside the studio around downtown Cary!
I really love photographing maternity clients! It is such a beautiful time in a woman’s life and each pregnancy is so unique. This little belly is carrying daughter number 3! I just love the images we created!
Little Konrad is just so adorable! I got to photograph him while he was still all snug inside of mom’s belly and then when he was just a few days old. This little boy is so loved and cherished. Mom and dad brought matching Lucky Brand boxers to the maternity session to forever document how lucky they felt to be anticipating their new baby boy! They are a wonderful couple and they make a lovely new family!
Oh..he is so cute!!!! What wonderful pictures to treasure for eternity!
Konrad is sooo handsome and Melissa is a beautiful expecting mom. The pictures of all 3 are very heartwarming and sweet.
OMG, he is absolutely adorable! I LOVE these pictures. The 2nd picture of Konrad with his head reasting on his little folded arms is simply precious. And Melissa and Pete, you two were looking pretty darn good yourselves. 
What a beautiful family!! We are so happy for ALL of you. You are now three in one!! Have a wonderful life and keep these pics coming.

These are three of the cutest little boys! They were hands down the best behaved set of brothers I have ever photographed! They were just so sweet. I really enjoyed our session and I love the images that we captured!
I had the pleasure of photographing two of the most beautiful, sweet, polite, mature and fun high school senior girls in Cary! They are twins and will be graduating in just a few short weeks. They were just delightful to work with and their images are some of my favorties! Here is a sneak peek for them… (in alphabetical order!)
Portraits in the Park mini-sessions! They are scheduled for May 21st at the beautiful Fearrington Village Gardens and June 18th at Duke Gardnes in Durham. The Duke session are getting close to sold out after the email newsletter went out today! The session fee is $50 for this 30 minute session. Call the studio at 302-6581 to schedule!
We are finally going to the beach to offer sessions to our clients! Over the last couple of years we have had many of our clients ask us to let them know when we would be at the beach. Well, we’re coming! I have never wated to combine “work” with our own family beach vacation, so this year we are making a separate trip just for our clients!
We will be scheduling sessions June 21-26 with one sunrise and one sunset session per day. The sunset session on the 26th is already booked! We are staying in Emerald Isle, so we can accomodate sessions in Emerald Isle up to Atlantic Beach. If you would like to do a session at your beach house “beach” or near your rental house, we can do that. We are also scheduling sessions at Fort Macon in Atlantic beach as Cari has shot there in the past.

This is one of the sweet little girls from our ties and tutus sessions last month. She is so precious and just has the most beautiful expressions!
This beautiful couple is anxiously awaiting the birth of their first little girl. Her name in Mia. We had a great time at the session and we created some wonderful images to document this special time in the life of their family. I am really looking forward to meeting Mia for her newborn session coming up soon!
